This Hongkong Cafe used to open only until 5:30 and now extended the hours to 8:30pm which is nice. They also increased the price, free drink became half price after 5pm. With the other Hongkong cafe open in the area, we no longer need to line up to get in. I cannot say the food quality decreased, maybe the same. We still go there from time to time, but not very often. The service is a little bit ...how to put it...the store is rather small, but interior gives a authentic hongkong cafe feeling. The waitress goes back and forth, not much to do, sometimes chatting, maybe lack of proper training. Anyway, it is still a hongkong Cafe worth visiting.

As a Hong Kong-style restaurant.I think many similar restaurants in Hong Kong don’t offer this level of quality at such a price. Their stir-fried dishes taste excellent. For $14.99, you get a meal with rice and a hot drink, which I find reasonably priced. I tried five dishes today, and all of them were quite good. The sweet and sour pork with pineapple was juicy and tender, with just the right balance of sweetness and tanginess. The salt and pepper pork chops were crispy and flavorful. The stir-fried green beans with preserved meats were also delicious. The only minor issue was that the eggplant in garlic sauce lacked a bit of flavor. I’ll definitely come back again.

If you’re like me, you’re excited to try a new HK cafe. Especially one that I hear actually has an OG location in Hong Kong. They offer both all-day specials and a dinner menu. When we visited after 5pm, soup was served. The baked pork chop in tomato sauce on spaghetti had a good amount of cheese & sauce aroma. The portion size was fairly standard. Baked chicken and mushroom in cream sauce also had a top notch sauce but the chicken meat was really bland. The complementary daily soup with sliced yam & barley rice was perfect for a rainy day. Staff were especially kind to see us off. There was no lineup when we visited in the late afternoon.

I went to Wing Tai once in April. I had Singapore mai fun and milk tea last time. Just went back last week. We ordered a lot of food since we are a group of 8 people. We had popcorn chicken, chicken wings, chicken leg, satay beef noodles soup, baked pork chop rice, Portuguese curry beef with rice and milk tea...etc. Everything was delicious and reminds me of Hong Kong. It is hard to find a good Hong Kong style restaurant in NYC. I will definitely visit again when I am back to Toronto next time.

Always on the hunt for Hong Kong food, and we checked out this spotWe tried their Signature Onion Oil Chicken, the Chicken was very juicy and tender, it’s got a TON of Scallion Oil on it, paired with Steamed Rice, so good! We also got their Portuguese Style Pork Chop in Curry on Rice, the Curry was on the sweeter end but delicious, the Pork Chop was tender as well, loved it! Both meal came with a Drink or Soup but not both like other spots, overall still decent in value.
